The EMLex programme (Joint Master Degree) provides an international and multidisciplinary education (unique in its kind) in the field of lexicography. It produces and examines the lexicography theories to a high academic level, it introduces to lexicography practice and to assembling dictionaries, it connects students coming from all over the world.
At the end of the educational path, students will have acquired the necessary skills to perform several careers and jobs both in lexicographic publishing and in research, in particular with regard to the several steps of production of online dictionaries in particular with regard to the several steps of producing electronic and/or paper dictionaries (from design to drafting and to technical implementation).
Students of EMLex programme will benefit from a high quality education, they will have the opportunity to undertake internship related to theoretical and analytical aspects of modern lexicography and will have basic skills both for consultancy and planning in publishing in the field of lexicography and to deepen their studies in academic research.
The aim of the course is to train qualified professionals meeting the new job needs both in Italy and in Europe and as well all over the world
