1) First semester: the first semester has the purpose to get students to reach a good level of knowledge in lexicographic and linguistic field. English and German languages skills are deepened. Lesson modules will be held in each University participating in the programme.
2) Second semester: the second semester takes place on a year-to-year basis at one of the participating universities, with experts from other universities and world-renowned academics. The students enrolled in the Master’s degree programme will attend the lessons of the second semester all together. The advanced modules offered (in the form of seminar blocks) have, as main themes, met lexicography, the history of lexicography, the use of dictionaries, specialized lexicography and terminology, dictionaries for learners, computational lexicography, dictionaries and translation, lexicology and etymology, drafting and production of dictionaries.
3) Third semester: in the third semester, students will perform an internship lasting several weeks and will deepen lexicographic knowledge.
4) Drawing up of the Degree thesis: the fourth semester is devoted to the writing of the Degree thesis. The supervising professor is from Roma Tre University, the assistant supervisor professor is an expert of one of the consortium universities or associated partners.
