The 2022 edition of the USSAT consists in 7 individual modules, which on the one hand, do not duplicate the courses on offer at the University of Roma Tre, but complement them, and on the other, offer moderate prices for courses generally available only at private facilities and at much higher costs.
Each member can choose to attend one module for each time slot.
The modules that will be activated are the following:
- English/French to Italian Subtitling
- Portuguese/Spanish to Italian Subtitling
- Russian to Italian Subtitling
- Italian to Romanian Subtitling
- Subtitling for the hearing impaired
- Respeaking
- Game Localization
Teaching method
Blended method: The modules are provided in presence, during the week of stay at Roma Tre; remote checks are also provided after the stay at Roma Tre.
Teaching language
Italian and specific language of the module.
Admission requirements
- First level degree subscription, language proficiency level required to attend the specific module (B2/C1)
- First level degree, language proficiency level required to attend the specific module (B2/C1)
- Self-certification of the language proficiency level required to attend the specific module (B2/C1) (For module “g”, refer to English)

Registration
The registration fee is 360 euros to be paid in a single solution.
Deadline: June 30, 2022
The fixed stamp duty and the contribution for the issue of the diploma or certificate shall be added to the amount of the first fee.
The registration fees won’t be refunded in case of voluntary waiver, or in case of non-performance of the documentation required to register for the Course
Exemption from registration fees
- The total exemption of fees and contributions is provided for students with documented disabilities of 66% or more, and for those who are in a condition of disability with recognition of disability within the meaning of Article 3, paragraphs 1 and 3, of Law 5 February 1992, n. 104, where the total number of students with disabilities does not exceed 2 (for each individual module). To qualify for the exemption, it is necessary to attach to the registration a disability certificate issued by the competent health institution, indicating the percentage recognized.
- For each module, the admission in excess is provided for a maximum number of n. 2 students from disadvantaged areas or developing countries. For these students the registration will be free of charge. The students must pay the fixed fee for the issue of the final certificate and the fixed stamp duty. For the registration of the above-mentioned students, the provisions of the legislation on admission of students with a foreign qualification apply.
